On June 9, 2012, Wenny married her best friend Eric. You first met them in April 2012 when I did their engagement session at the University of DE (which can be seen HERE), and it was then that I knew they had a special connection. To have a long distance relationship for the majority of your time together can test the strength of the relationship and they came through with flying colors. Wenny and Eric were married at the Upper Dublin Friends Meeting House where they held their own version of a Quaker ceremony. They really enjoyed parts of the Quaker traditions and decided to incorporate them into their wedding. It was a very moving ceremony and as my second photographer Gary said to me after, “This is why I shoot weddings!”. I think that pretty much sums up the day and the couple. Congrats Wenny and Eric; it was an honor to shoot your wedding and I wish you both all the best!
I’ve lived in Philadelphia for 11 years now and I’ve never been to the Morris Arboretum. I can tell you that I’ve been missing out!! Absolutely stunning!! Stunning, stunning, stunning!! Marissa and Reed could not have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate their wedding day!! They celebrated their wedding with their closest friends and family; the ceremony and reception felt intimate, personal, and loving. Congratulations Marissa and Reed, Marielle and I had so much fun shooting your wedding!! Enjoy reliving a snippet of your wedding day!!
It’s not often that I meet my clients for the first time on their wedding day; but this couple could not have been more accepting of me…I honestly felt like I was part of the family the whole day. Carlee Anne and Lorin Kyle planned a very special day at the gorgeous Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamston, NJ. I had a great time and I’m pretty sure that they did too! Congrats guys; it was an honor to shoot your wedding!
I know this wedding was going to be pretty special. Bridget and Danny found me through one my high school students (who does make an appearance in this post)….just another example of my two worlds of guidance counselor and photographer colliding. When I tell you that I had over 150 pictures first picked for this post, I’m not kidding. It was SO hard to cull it down to under 100; I just wanted to showcase everything. Bridget and Danny were married at the Merion Tribute House in May and I feel blessed that I was able to witness their love and to capture the beauty of their day! They both have families that make you laugh and smile and their friends were just as amazing!! Congrats Bridget and Danny!!
Congratulations to Lauren and John!! Lauren is a magical person; so positive and kind and an absolute joy to be around; and John is a true gentleman!! It was thrilling to be part of their day!! We started at the XIX in Center City, worked our way to the Art Museum, Love Park, City Hall and ended at the Bellevue!! Lauren and John were surrounded by friends and family and from what I experienced; they had a wonderful wedding. Enjoy this little sneak peek.
