Krista & Stephen | Curtis Arboretum Engagement Session

So when I schedule engagement sessions, I often encourage either late evening or early sunrise….for the simple reason of getting the most amazing light.  When we started our session, the sun was hiding behind the clouds so I told them that if the sun made an appearance, we would need to stop what we were doing and run to get it…..and guess what!? We did just that.  As soon as the sun emerged, I heard “SUN!”.  It was at that moment that we went running towards the light. No joke….we were really running!!  Congrats to Krista and Stephen….I cannot WAIT for your Fall 2015 Wedding!!

Amanda & Ryan | Engagement at Curtis Arboretum

Meet Amanda and Ryan!!  So incredibly sweet and so much fun-I’m pretty sure that we laughed the entire time!!  Why? Because it’s completely normal to wear a blanket outside, to hug and kiss on a bridge, and spontaneously rock the piggy-back all while being followed by a crazy girl with a camera!!  Seriously though—>we had fun in the snow and fun chasing the light!!  Keep an eye out for their wedding in November of this year!!

Chrissy & Pat | William Penn Inn Wedding

I want to send out a heartfelt thank you to Chrissy and Pat!! They were married on January 9, 2015 at the William Penn Inn.  I first met Chrissy through my co-worker—>her mother Liz.  I LOVE working with Liz, and when she said she had a daughter who was getting married, and that her name was Chrissy…..I knew right then and there that I would be shooting her wedding.  😉  Over the summer, I met Chrissy’s fiance Pat when we had fun in Sea Isle City for their engagement session.  I found out pretty quickly that Chrissy and Pat love to laugh and that they have a tremendous amount of love for each other.

Winter weddings can be amazing; really, they can be….and Chrissy and Pat’s big day was beautiful with beautiful winter sunlight! I love when everything can be done at the same location; less stress and more time to play! After the wedding, I received a very touching text from the bride:  “Chrissy, we cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful time last night! Everyone was and is still raving about you and what a great job you did! Some of our favorites from the night….your face when Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake it Off’ came on, your photo booth pic! and your gentle reminders of my wondering eye :)”

What can I say—> I LOVE Taylor Swift! And besides, that song is so fun to belt loudly, especially on the dance floor surrounded by friends! Which BTW, that dance floor never stopped.  People were even dancing when they were passing out the salads!  This was a hard core bunch!! :0)  Super, super fun! So here are my favs from Chrissy and Pat’s wedding: How gracious both Chrissy and Pat’s friends and family were-I felt like I was attending an event, not working it, I LOVED their flowers (and I mean slightly obsessed with them), Chrissy and Pat’s laugh (I swear they never stopped smiling), I loved “Little Dude” (that was my nickname for the ring bearer), their dance floor (probably one of the most exciting receptions I’ve ever shot, never a dull moment), and being able to become friends with Chrissy and Pat!!  You guys are the best!!
