Jessica & Rob | Manayunk & Plymouth Country Club

Congrats to Jess and Rob who were married at St. John the Baptist in Manayunk on 11/22/14.  I met Jess at Kelly & Matt’s Wedding!  Part of the reason why I enjoy what I do so much is because I see my clients year after year due to word of mouth referrals.  This wedding not only had Kelly & Matt, but I also got to see and hug Franny & Steph (and did you know that I also shot their beautiful family not long ago).

The day started with the ladies getting ready and when I saw Jess’s dress, I gasped.  I actually thought it was an old vintage gown, but it was lovingly handmade; just beautiful.  The wedding ceremony was at the historic St. John the Baptist Church in the heart of Manayunk.  I’ve shot a few weddings there, and it is my favorite church to shoot.  Soon after we headed over to Plymouth Country Club.  I always have a habit of checking the weather obsessively before a wedding and even that morning it was supposed to be a beautiful, NON-RAINY day.  As I was following the trolley, wet stuff starting appearing on my windshield.  Luckily for us, we drove right through it!  It was getting dark pretty quickly since it was cloudy so everyone braved chilled temperatures for pictures!  This bridal party ROCKED!

Congrats Jess and Rob!  I wish you both a lifetime of laughter, love and happiness!  I honestly felt like I was part of your two families by the end of the night! And Ann Marie, next time I walk by your house (as I do often walking to Starbucks) and I see your door open, I’ll stop by and say hi!!  <3

Donna & Joey Engagement Session | Philly Art Museum

The Fall is an amazing season for engagement sessions; I love the colors, I love the weather, it’s a magical time of year. Donna and Joey agreed!  We had originally had Saturday as “The Day” but the weather had other plans as it rained all day.  No problem, we’ll just move it to Sunday.  In all my years as a photographer, I’ve never had quite a day like Sunday, November 2, 2014; the windiest day ever seen by Philly.  Of course, that’s not really a scientific fact, but it was very windy.

The Philly Art Museum is a beautiful landscape for pictures, lots of nooks and crannies! Donna and Joey and myself did a great job finding them all!  They rocked it!! Not to mention that we got to witness a beautiful sunset!

Andi & Tim | Peddler’s Village Wedding

I want to send Andi and Tim a heartfelt thank you for letting me document their day!  It was a day filled with love, family, friends and amazing  details that filled their wedding day! Kilts, bagpipe players, fall colors, and fun.  It was just an amazingly fun day!

Andi and Tim were married on October 18, 2014. It was getting ready shots with Andi, over to the church to boutonniere the  boys (I do this more than you think!), on to the emotional ceremony, then on to pictures with the bridal party.  Before heading over to Peddler’s Village for the reception, we took a pit stop to see Andi’s horse! I’m absolutely in love with her horse; it was a very special moment for Andi to see her horse on her wedding day!

All in all it was a swell day! Did I mention that there was a Watertown, NY connection? You see, I once lived in Watertown, NY and it so happens that the groom and his family are from there. Small world….or meant to be? You be the judge! Congrats Andi and Tim! I heart you to pieces.  I’m sure I’ll see you two soon enough! <3
