Ryan & Katie | The Carriage House NJ Wedding

Congrats to Ryan and Katie. They were married at the Carriage House in NJ on Saturday, August 16, 2014.  When I first met Ryan and Katie, I knew that their wedding would be very special.  I had the honor of shooting their engagement session HERE, and had a blast at their wedding.  The day began with two ‘First Looks’.  The first was with Katie and her dad, and I’ll bet there wasn’t a dry eye around (including me).  It was touching, tender, and very special.  Next it was Ryan’s turn and it was spectacular.  I love when brides and grooms decide to see each other before the ceremony; I think there is something very special about a ‘First Look’, not to mention, we get to have a stress-free, fun time with portraits!!  I also want to thank my second shooter, Marielle Casanova of Brick Photography for helping me capture this wonderful day!

The ceremony was beautiful as well as the speeches, the cake cutting and the dancing.  Katie’s dad gave the best speech I’ve seen to date by a parent.  He held out a sonogram photo of Katie and described what it was like to see her for the first time in her wedding gown.  I was very touched by this wedding.  I actually felt like part of the family by the end; that is how wonderful and caring all of their friends and family were!

Katie and Ryan, I wish you both the most amazing life together.  Enjoy this sneak peek!

Chrissy & Pat | Sea Isle City, NJ Engagement

Summer days are amazing days for an engagement session, and when Chrissy and Pat asked that I meet them in Sea Isle, NJ…..I was ecstatic. So, on Monday, August 11, Chrissy, Pat and I walked on the beach, got a little wet, and ice-cream even made an appearance.  Engagement sessions are always full of laughter, and Chrissy and Pat were no exception.  Tons of silliness and laughing.  Enjoy this sneak peek and keep an eye out for their wedding in January 2015.

Jessica & Nathan | Morris House Hotel Wedding

Congratulations to Jess and Nate on their beautiful wedding on July 12, 2014 at the Morris House Hotel.   Jess and Nate’s story actually began on May 25, 2013, when I shot Dana and Chris’s Wedding. You see, Chris is Jess’s brother, so when Jess contacted me to shoot her wedding, I was thrilled and honored!

Jess and Nate had quite a bit going on leading up to their wedding day.  Jess was living in VA while Nate was living close to me in Manayunk attending med school.  Jess was looking for a new job in PA in education and I was more than happy to help (remember, I’m a guidance counselor during the school year and a photographer full time!).  I just think it’s in my nature to help!! So while Jess and I emailed back and forth about jobs and the wedding, Nate was able to stop by when needed which made planning a piece of cake.

The day started with a First Look, continued with fun bridal party portraits and then we were ready for the festivities to begin.  The ceremony was  touching- both fathers had a key role while the mom’s were the ring bearers. What was especially wonderful was the attention to detail from the table decorations, to the flowers, to everything!  The ceremony and reception were all heart.  Jess and Nate’ friends and family were all amazing!!  It was a wonderful day/night filled with love, laughter (lots of laughter) and dancing.  Oh, and when it came time for dessert….I just have one word: PINKBERRY!

What I love most about doing what I do is that I get to meet and work with some pretty amazing people—->Jess and Nate: I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!!  XXOO

Meet the Clark Family | Core Creek Park

Hi there!! Meet the Clark Family!  What a fun day in Core Creek Park.  It was Caitlin’s introduction to the family at only 4 days old; not to mention, Jimmy and Will were amazing older brothers. So truth be told, when working with young children, you need to make them feel comfortable (at any cost).  At our location were ducks and geese….and well, did you know that ducks/geese can’t see far; they are in fact near sited and almost nearly blind?  No? You didn’t know that?  Well, dad and I were working off of each other to get Jimmy to feel like the ducks/geese wouldn’t come close to us.  Guess what, it worked!  It’s about being creative to be able to capture great moments.  This is a only a blip of the images I took….enjoy this sneak peek!

Meet Ava and Grace | Washington Crossing

Meet these two cuties: Ava and Grace!!  I had a blast with these two running around the yard and even taking time to play with the dog (for like 5 minutes!) Ha!!  All in all, I think it was a success!!  Enjoy this sneak peek!
